Ok, so this is a big chunk of change that was planned for other mods(sliders & rear bumper) however I think tjat the extra capacity and not stopping to fill up will out weigh those on the short term. I was a little apprehensive about dropping this much. After filling up twice this week for unexpected errands run, I am very happy with the decision to do it. Hope everyone else that jumped on board feel the same!

Word up brother! I'm all over South Jersey. Fort Dix, McGuire, Trenton, AC...I'm there. Philly would be our best bet to save you from having to pay to get out of Jersey. haha I'd be down to meet you halfway if you're closer to DC/BWI. We appreciate the offer tho! We'll figure it out as it gets closer.

    UPDATE ON TANK SALE
GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS, GOOD NEWS
    1. The Tacoma World "Super Group" sale went well with a lot of orders.(good)
    2. We got swamped and fell behind in responses and may have missed some folks (bad)
    3. Interested persons have been patient, tolerant, forgiving, etc. (good)
    4. We arranged to reopen and extend the window for orders (good)
    5. Updated timeline:
      • Orders with deposit due by end of day, Sunday the 13th
      • Tank production order will be placed on that day with LRA
      • We don't know production queue at LRA, but it will be approximately three weeks
      • Container will come approximately 30 days thereafter
      • Domestic shipping will take approximately 7 weeks
    6. We can ship two or three tanks on a pallet to a single YRC Freight local terminal for pick-up. This means that you can significantly reduce your shipping/handling costs. Example..... If a single tank pallet ship cost is $300 and you have three tank purchasers sharing the ride, then each buyer only pays $100.
    7. To do this, one person must be designated as "receiver" - legally and operationally - to pick up the pallet in a suitable vehicle (to load a 400 lb pallet with a fork lift) and then deliver the other two tanks to their owners.
    8. We will need to obtain signed agreements from the receiver and other purchasers, accepting these roles and risks. If something goes wrong, the resolution will not involve our firm and it will be up to the parties to sort things out.
    9. To review pricing...... $1,495 Retail Price, $200 Promo Discount - $1,295 Net Price payable with $200 deposit on order, balance of $1,095 due when the tanks are ready to ship in May, shipping due when tanks are ready to ship from Stockton.
    10. Summary - sale extended, shipping options, mid June ETA
    11. But, wait, there's more......updated info sheet, Q&A and installation instructions below
Please email info@cruiserbrothers.com or call with questions, orders, etc. and thanks for your patience.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
That is not as bad as I thought I read first

So much want. Not sure if I can swing it currently.

Is there more than 1 tank in this discussion? I guess I am confused what the price actually is.

I have been wanting this solution since 2010. I will have to talk to the wife, and run the numbers.

Only one tank, manufactured by Long Range Automotive in Australia, distributed exclusively in North America by Cruiser Brothers. A group by was started by James/Jimbo last year with LRA and after we took over the line here last year, we worked to make it possible for the TW "group" to have a) access to Tacoma tanks at an attractive price; b) integrated import shipping, Customs clearance and domestic shipping; and c) a single point of contact for questions, orders, customer service and technical support.

The current offer is not a group buy, but the offer from Cruiser Brothers to sell sell tanks to individual purchasers at a discounted price, plus freight shipping from Stockton, California. The promotional price is $1,495 less $200 discount = $1,295. Please read post #316, review the attached document below and send us an email at info@cruiserbrothers.com or call 209-636-0831 if you have questions or wish to place an order.

Thanks! - Ward Harris/Cruiser Brothers, LLC

    TANK TOPIC TRIVIA
The TW Taco Offer ends Sunday the 15th at tank cost of $1,295 including shipping TO California (via sea freight and container), plus shipping FROM California to a freight terminal near you.

FWIW, our current order departed from Melbourne on Tuesday by air freight - 30 Tacoma, FJC, Land Cruiser, Tundra and Jeep tanks. The Tacoma tanks on that order are priced at $1,495 retail plus a $250 premium for air freight and they are all sold.

We are also ordering tanks for inventory so we can fulfill orders from what we have on hand. It will take us a while to develop product on shelf. This is due to manufacturing capacity, monthly shipments, sea freight (30 days) and on-going demand for the product.

Just wanted to let you all know that these tanks will be available on an on-going basis. We are working on our website, expanding our warehouse, adding to staff and building a network of authorized dealers around the country. LRA and Cruiser Brothers are here to stay and we appreciate your interest in our products and services.

The retail price of the Tacoma tank is $1,495 and when the current promotion is over, we will take orders for inbound stock.

    Thanks
