Thank you for update. Answers a lot of my questions. I think a trip to Cali may be in the works for me this fall. Hope this all works out as planned.

Don't wait too long. With your location, you and I could split shipping costs as well.

The TW Sea Deal has not sold out, open for orders until end of day on the 15th. That block of tanks will arrive in June.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    Thank you for the info!

I am really interested in this, I will have to crunch the numbers and decided now or later!

2 kids, a wife, 2 houses, a storage building, 23 Toyota's and working 80 plus hours a week just means I have tons of numbers to think about lol.

Also side projects, Honey do list and all that other stuff lol

I would love to. I floated the idea with the wife, thats the starter.

I should update my thing, I am in the Midwest/south now lol.

We are not going anywhere and we are ordering Taco Tanks for stock, along with FJC and a bunch of other Toyota models. It may take a while, given demand, but we are working to have a consistent supply on hand so folks don't have to wait for the boat.

We are developing a tank (or tanks) for North American variants of the Prado 120 (GX 470/4G 4Runner) and Prado 150 (GX 460/5G 4Runner) just as we did for the US Spec Land Cruiser 200.

Unlike the Tacoma tanks, the 4Runner and related tanks will be added, auxiliary tanks with a twin-fill feature serving both tanks through the original fuel door, along with a transfer pump and combination switch/gauge.

The key issues are our charcoal canisters, emission fittings on the twin-fill fuel tubes and accommodation of KDSS fittings on the frame and crossmembers on these rigs. The basic process is measure, template, test fit, fine tune and first prototype. The final product for the 200 can be seen in the attached file.

For the 200, we ended up with a family of three tanks - 40, 24 and 13 gallons. For the GX/4Runner tanks, we are hoping to have two sizes - large (around 35 gallons) and small (around 12 gallons), with the smaller tank configured to accommodate the OEM spare mount.

We are keeping LRA's production and product development teams pretty busy, but these new tanks are a priority for us and we hope to have them available in 2018.
