I havent gotten to call about shipping multiples yet to east coast, I'll call this Tue and work out for shipping here and driving a couple up to South Jersey.

 

Just got confirmation tank is in CA!

 

Yup, got my invoice, paid for it and will pick up on Monday. Can’t wait to wrestle this thing.

 

There is also a box with hoses, hardware, typed instructions(no piktars) and lotsa love.

 

We have new instructions with snaps as attached. We may also do another "group buy" ahead of a price increase next month. TBD

 

Awesome, is there an estimated timeline for when those that have paid will start shipping?

 

The next group buy will be approximately 5 weeks to ship from Stockton.

 

Matt - Per our PM conversation, the last of the April group (four tanks) will go out tomorrow. We have fine-tuned order/production process with LRA so will shave a couple of weeks of of the timeline for next group.

 

We have received over 60 tanks in the last month.

Anyone out there with an LRA tank purchased from LRA, Man-A-Fre or Outback Proven?

As exclusive agents in North America for LRA, we feel an obligation to the brand and the community of LRA owners.

Got mine a couple weeks ago... picked up a new Denso fuel pump and O-ring... stoked to get the tank swapped out.

 

Hope you have a good time with it. Updated instructions below. Watch out for kinked fill/vent hoses on reinstall. We suggest bed removal for install - generally faster/easier.

Also, we are working on kits for long bed dual cab and access cab models. No ETA, but progress being made.

 

Wait - So I have a tank that I can't install in my DCLB without more parts that don't have an ETA?? I know a few of us asked about these and were told they'd be included - even the OP says that the tank will fit with the kit.

 

Damn... that is a work of art.

 

The OP started this thread 14 months ago - well before Cruiser Brothers got involved in the offer of these tanks.
We have sold these as suitable for double cab/short box. When asked, CB has said we were working on a solution, ETA TBD.

Yes. Take a look at the OP. The info is completely changed from how it originally looked. The original OP is quoted a few posts down.

I’d say you’re not gonna get that gas tank installed without doing some custom fabrication to make it work.

That said, since you’re not that far away for me I’d love to take a look.

 

The mod is an adapter plate connecting the mounting point on the longer frame to the mounting bracket on the tank. We are waiting on dimensions from the shop doing the DCLB install on this truck.

Flat steel, nothing fancy.

 

I'm not trying to get in a pissing match here, just trying to make a plan for my investment here. And sure, the OP started this 14 months ago but it had been edited to include correspondence from you to the OP about the brackets being included:

I guess it seemed like the issue had been worked through based on the responses through the thread and the update to the OP after CB got involved. It's just a bummer that I either have to wait an unknown time for an unknown solution or tear into it myself and not have my truck until it's figured out.
