Hey Homer, I'm not averse to fabing I just didn't take that as what I was buying. Did you end up doing that run a few weeks ago to Flagpole Knob? I was hoping to meet some more local guys but had to take off back home Saturday morning.

No pissing match that I can see, just fair questions. All true as stated, a detail that got away from us and we are working on it.

A favor to ask - can any DCLB owners please email me to confirm need? Thanks!

Bummer, I drug the trailer up Switzer Lake and only had a problem when I came up on a guy who had cut a tire on the way down. Ended up getting to the knob a little before sundown and chat with a guy from the radio group up there. I backtracked a bit and found a little area to ride out the storms for the night away from their radio masts :der:

Ran into a few forum guys from VA Friday before turning in but they headed back down Union to the next knob and I didn't want to be dragging the trailer down there in the dark.

    Til next time I guess?

Thanks Ward, I appreciate the understanding. Put me down on the list for a bracket, I'll follow up if I end up getting an alternative worked out before the other bracket becomes available. Do you want me to email too?

I guess so... I'm sure our paths will cross eventually. ;)

I'd definitely make a ride out to see that tank install, happy to lend a hand turning a wrench too. :D

I'll let you know, probably post something up in the NJBS thread since I know some folks may be interested in what the install takes. I still need to clear out some room in the garage for when I pull the back end apart since I think I might pull the cap, drawers and bed so I can work from the top. It'll give me a chance to clean the frame up too and maybe do some work on my back bumper - still toying with cutting the bedsides and extending my bumper ends to be more hi-clearance style :notsure:

Any update for the DCLB? Has the bracket been fabricated? I'm definitely interested in one for the long bed.

No ETA, but a new fabricator is on the job. Details to follow.

Any DCLB purchasers, PLEASE email us at info@cruiserbrothers.com so we can update you. Thanks!

Don’t know if this has been answered in the thread already, but I didn’t want to comb through 20+ pages of posts to find out. Are these legal for install in California? I had heard somewhere that these might not pass the visual portion of the smog inspection. Anyone have any experience with this?
