DMR type shooting shindig down in Southern Utah.

Some staff guy walks up and goes, "Can I take your pic? I've never seen a guy write his dope on his hand before".

Blows my mind, cuz thats super common with the folks I shoot with in a pinch.

I've done it more than! I have finished all day matches with both hands full. I have learned to keep more cards and markers in my backpack and will still make some on the fly and just carry to a stage.

Yeah, he said that and I was like o_O

It had some pistol stuff and movement mixed in so it was more like a 2gun stage. The gamer-gun folks with a data card wire tied to the scope suffered. A few lost them somewhere on the stage to their detriment.

The nice part about my AMPs is that they are quickly convertible between headband style and helmet mount style so you don't need two pairs of earpro.

Which is super nice when you forget your headband earpro at home 250 miles away and are stuck with an extra 4.5# on your dome all day cuz its the only thing keeping your PPE to your ears.

Given my major QC issues with aero non m4 product I've learned my lesson
Hard pass especially with Cadex dropping theirs at same price point

    It’s just an FYI.

I don’t work for aero. Doesn’t matter to me who uses it or not. Its probably not anything I’ll use either as I won’t need a budget action for quiet awhile.

Your "QC issue" is the only one I've ever seen regarding aero. And I'm not sure we really ever got to the bottom of that strange mystery anyway. LoL....

I'll have an update on it shortly in the ar10 thread where it belongs. I put it in the back of the safe for a while but after replacing more aero parts that failed I've got it running

The T rex M5 video is another good example and experienced many of my issues but mine started round 1

My Aero receiver set turned loaner rifle takes a hammer and punch to separate the pivot pin and a hammer to seat. Functions just fine once assembled though.

Guess you can count 2 now.

Yeah. And people also bitch about "QC" when their upper and lower are to "sloppy". Can't win I guess.

Shoot it for a while and it'll probably be OK.

Had a couple rifles to zero/chrono and function check. Could have made a few trips to the local indoor 100y range, but on a nice sunny day, decided I could use some fresh air.
