300 PRC build parts starting to come together.
Was able to locate and order a Bartlein barrel last night M24 contour 1/9 twist 26 inch finished length.

Still need to order chassis and trigger, but action is about a year out so I've still got time

 

I use a Ruger 10/22 shot many coyotes with it rifle and scope $250 It will not shoot accurate at 500 yards but i'm old and cannot see that far anyway hahahaha

 

Doing some load development for my 7MM-08. First time using Varget, got a nice velocity node. Now I’m testing within the node. It’s a little slow but it’s consistent,

So what does everyone think of the Tekka T3 super varmint?

 

Newest build. MDT ACC chassis chambered in 6BR. So far have gotten 1/2 inch groups at 100, still finalizing a load. Plan is to shoot a PRS match this year.

 

Took the F-class 308 rig out yesterday for some testing. Happy with the SD and velocity. Taking it out to 600 tomorrow for the real test.

 

What grain bullet are you running in the 308 to get those speeds?

 

SMK 155gr

 

Damn. That’s still smokin fast.
I used to run 155 scenars around 2910 with a 22” barrel and had some pressure signs. It was a hot load but the gun loved it.

 

Yes, it is above published data but a custom chamber for Lapua brass, SMK 155's and it is a 30 inch barrel. If I drop it 0.1-0.2gr it just does not group as well so I go with it.

 

Rifles been in storage for a few years now, almost itching to go shooting again.

I don't see any ELR posted here? +1,500 yards? 2,000?

 

I have a Remington 22-250 with a leipold scope. I’ve dropped a few yoyes at 600 yards. Bullet flies at 4000fps and is quite flat.
