Precision shooting is a bit more exacting than a hope ana prayer.

Ifen you’re hittin a 48” target 2 outa 10 at +1000yd, that’s not precision shooting, if you dealing with a full value 25mph cross wind that’s a different story.

In his defense, as you know many many rounds are used past there transonic range. Case in point. The current kill record holder by the British paratrooper was far far beyond the 338 Lappula’s transonic point. And he had a double confirmation. Yes the math starts to fall apart after that,
but it’s not like they just fall out of the sky

Came here for the hardass "thats not precision shooting!!!" comments, did not disappoint.

I personally know people that have taken .243 a mile as well. It's no different than me taking .308 1000 yards when it goes trans at 800 and change. Still fun, still generates huge smiles. None of us are trying out for the SEALS.

If it was the Precision Rifles threat, I might've called BS. Thankfully, it's not, or I couldn't be here haha

I’m completely familiar with the physics of a projectile when it transitions from supersonic to subsonic and yes some bullets make the transition with minimum issues, others go ass over end. I am also familiar with the long range hits from the Canadian teams.

Now let me tell you all about my 22lr hits at 1k :anonymous:

Im not trying to pretend to be some sneaky ninja black ops dude. I just took an opportunity to do something insane and it was beyond awesome! I would've never though id be able to get hits that far even knowing the rifle was capable of it.

The wife’s specialty? Putting holes in paper targets!
She hit a quarter at 50 yrds that was glued to a target sheet. We shot at thing all day with different rds. She won the $50 Pot . Which is bullshit because I threw her $10 in on the pool.

Never got that 10 bucks back!

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
I've shot a few of them in the past. Never really impressed by it in a bolt gun. Told myself the only way I'd have one is in a gas gun and here we are.
