I'm impressed by Archive so far. They're highly recommended, provide good video content for installation instructions, and come at a relatively reasonable price point. I appreciate the no frills approach and REALLY appreciate how I'm not getting shit loads of targeted advertising compared to every other frickin vendor. That builds more credibility to me.

I have their rear shock relocation towers as well and they are just as nice. Big fan of AG.

grind a little more than you think you need to haha. a couple of those rivets gave me a hell of a time coming out. that was by far the most difficult part of the job and everything went in easy.

Did they change the ride height in the rear? I know it did for the previous gens.

I've had mine on for a little over a year and almost 20k miles. Not Archives though. Hangers plus a cross bar. Moved my spare to a tire carrier too. IMO the rear definitely feels more stable when going off road. Not so jumpy when I hit bumps and ruts.

No there's no change in ride height since like v1 or maybe v2. If you buy them new they will not change the ride height.

    Where'd you relocate the tire?

August will be 3 years for me, many trips and I have zero complaints. Full kit, hangers, shackles and cross tube. The rear end will feel more planted, stiffer when driving. I suggest pairing the kit with the Archive extended travel rear shock relocation kit.
I have an install on my channel if you are thinking about doing it yourself to give you an idea of what you'll be getting into. The stock hangers are kind of a pain in the ass to get out. After that, it's gravy.

Thanks for the info - I'll give your channels a follow.

What did you use to remove stock hangers/ what would you do differently if you had to do it again?

Bummer. I need my rear to be a tad higher. I don’t think I can lower the front more. FOX advised me against it. I need more weight in the front.

Wonder if this method is easier than the air hammer. It took my buddy and I 10 hours to do 1 side and haven't had a chance to go back for the other yet. I'm guessing I didnt cut off enough of the rivet though as that air hammer did not pop out the rivet and I had to resort to drilling.

I think the air hammer would work getting the factory hanger off. You could drill the factory rivets, and then try to air hammer them out. They would be weakened/compromised and maybe the air hammer can get them out?

If you don’t care about storing the spare under the bed, a simple 3-point cross brace would probably work better than these hangers, and be cheaper and easier to install.

Disagree here, in the rocks the stock hangers wont last no matter how much you brace them

But how would a cross brace help with suspension articulation ?

Yeah well maybe not if you use them as rock sliders dropping off ledges, but then you’ll tweak your frame anyway. That said, 99/100 of you only drive on forest gravel roads at max and post on Instagram.

Point is, I’d you get these hangers AND the cross brace, that’s great, go send it. But if it would be either or, then a brace alone would be better than hangers alone

Didn’t say it would. Neither would the hangers alone.
