Been a long time browser so I figure it's time to repay my debt to all the guys who's info I used. I've got a 2001 Tacoma xtra cab 4x4 dd I've been overhauling for 6 months now 245k miles. Little about me. live near Pensacola fl I've been a fabricator/welder for 9-1/2 years. Got my first welding machine at 14 then soon after ran my dad out of his own shed :argue: . turned 15 decided fabrication was my life. GED for me fab shop helper at 16. (26yrs old) anyway. So far I've replaced the entire drive line. Axles diff the works. Bilstein 5100 just came in yesterday. 3" lift. Limit straps. Custom front bumper with a 9000lb winch. Electric fan. Grey wire mod. Put the rear axle under it last night. Picking up calipers and rotors tomorrow to convert the rear drums to disk. Installing a bypass on the rear for real time brake adjustment. Have nice aftermarket shackles. I'm redesigning the rear suspension geometry to fit 14" stroke shocks, limit strap in the center with a wrap bar. Full cage all the way around is in the works. I'll get some picks up soon
