    What is up party people!

    I've been a loooong time Tacoma fan, but just recently scored an 07 prerunner double cab. Finally. I have always been a truck and off-road enthusiast, which began with my first car, an 85 Jeep Cherokee 4x4. From the moment those wheels hit dirt, I was hooked. Owned two Jeeps, a Chevy Silverado, a Ford Ranger, and most recently a Dodge Charger. Had to trade the Chevy for the charger(v6) when gas prices soared since I was commuting 80 miles a day. Finally moved closer to work and thus was able to score a sweet Tacoma. This thing is a beauty too. Picked up with all the extras already loaded from the motorsports custom shop. Still trying to track down all that is on this beauty, but so far the inventory;

    -XD Series Spy wheels
    -Nitto Trail Grapplers
    -Dual Halo Projector Headlights
    -Front skidplate
    -Lifted, think stock lift, maybe a couple of inches
    -Loud, mean muffler and chrome exhaust tip

    I just recently added a Scanguage II. Mounted it right above the steering column, which worked out beautifully.

    Hoping this is the start of a long, prosperous relationship. I know friends and family that have had these Tacomas to 200k. Great vehicles. The one drawback that really pisses me off, is the factory radio. Really? No auxiliary hook up? WTF. I am in teh market for cheap stereo and kit, if anyone is looking to rid themselves of one. I hear that later models have axillary hook-ups, so I'd bee willing to take a stock one off someone's hands too. I am freelance illustrator, so maybe we can make a deal for a trade.

    Looking forward to getting to know the peeps on this forum and sharing in the glory that these mechanical beauty are!

    BTW, I am out in the SoCal region.

    Yeah, at 80 bucks for the hook-up! at that price, I figure I might as well update the hold shebang. There are some sweet double din stereos out there now.

    Here is a quick pic of the newest addition to my wolfpack...

    Haha. Yeah, I wasn't too hot on the color. Went in to look at a white one, but this one was way betterrer. It is sort of growing on me. I think the black accents help offset the flamboyance.

    Forgot to mention that is also de-badged. I have been browsing around this forum and already picked up some pointers. I thrown on the tailgate mod last weekend.

    Mounting the Scangage was a piece of cake. Ran the wire through thet steering column and a little sticky tape. Below is a pic of it mounted. Seems to be the perfect spot, and with the lights on it blends seamlessly. Scanguage is great with the cusom colors. Got it to match the red lights perfectly. Speaking of,the led mod will probably be my next for sure.
