Long time listener, first time caller...

Hey everyone, I've visited this site several times in the past, but recently decided to register an account. Why you may (or may not) ask?

Well, primarily because last week I picked up my brand new 2012 DC TRD Sport 4x4, which I'm not only excited about, but know I'll probably be a bit more active here now as I get this new truck set up the way I want it!

I traded in 2005 DC SR5 for this new one, and this is my 3rd Toyota truck overall, so I guess you could say I'm hooked! It was a bit tough to let go of the 2005, but I'm very happy with the 2012, especially since I was able to find a manual transmission, which I prefer but wasn't able to find when I bought the 2005.

I'm not much of a hard-core modder, but I will take on small projects from time to time. Only thing I've done to this one so far is to remove the front mudflaps (fool me once, shame on you...)

I find this site to be great source of knowledge on the Tacoma in general, and I enjoy the conversations with other Taco-enthusiasts as well. Hopefully one day I'll be answering more questions than I ask!
