Just got a lift and new wheels and tires. 2 1/4" front lift done with a leveling kit since the stock TRD Bilsteins are still good. Rear has supersprings to bring it back to about factory height. Wheels are American Outlaw Rangers 17". Tires are BFG KO2 285/70R17. I ran BFG KO for the past few years on stock rims so it was a natural upgrade.

Bought this Taco new in 2008, it has been literally coast to coast in both the US and Canada several times over. I don't ever plan to sell it; if anything ever breaks I'll replace it with something stronger lol!

Have a great day, hope you enjoy the pics.

Hey Nick, so far it's been fine. If I brake hard while turning hard, then it rubs but I'm not sure on what. No marks on the tires that I can see. I think it's hitting those fiberboard things in the wheel arches but not sure.

Just a quick update in case anyone has the same issue. For me it is the black plastic covers inside the front wheel arches: on the highway, the ones at the front of the wheel arches (passenger side one has slats for airflow) are loose enough that they blow back onto the tire and cause rubbing. Only above 50mph or so. I cut part of them away with my handy dandy pocket knife and now all is well.
