Long-Time Lurker - 2nd Post

Aloha all. Long-time lurker that finally signed up for an account to ask for help and hopefully contribute where I can.

I was going to post this in the Buy/Sell/Trade section, but there is a 30-day account requirement to post in that section. That being the case, I thought I would post this here.

I'm looking for a 1st Gen Tacoma with the following characteristics/options:

Required: 1st Gen Tacoma, 4x4, Automatic, Regular or Extended Cab (not 4-Door), Under 175k Miles, No Rust, Very Good or Better Exterior & Interior Condition.

Preferences: Limited or TRD Package, Under 150k Miles, 95-00 Year, Stock, Color (White, Black, Silver, Green, Dark Red, or Tan), V6.

Willing to pay up to $15k for the right truck. Cash buyer. Located in Hawaii, but willing to move forward with long-distance sale. Willing to pay finder's fee of $200 upon successful sale.

You can still lurk around in the buy/sell forum, and if you see something you like, PM the owner. I don't think there's a prohibition on PMs for new members, but maybe there is? It's been a while for me, lol.

Good luck, being HI, the inventory is likely pretty limited. I see tons of 1st gens over there, but no for sale signs on them, lol.

If you get one from the mainland, just make sure you know where it's been, and they didn't salt the roads there. The frame rust on he 1st gens is still an issue that rears its ugly head.
