When we ask for pics of your setup to help with your issues, we don't mean a useless glamour shot taken with you hanging from a tree.

I wouldn't have put it quite that way. :p

But a helpful pic will be taken from about 5-10 feet in front of the truck down near ground level to show what type of front suspension it is - and then looking into the wheelwell with the tire turned toward you - again to show the parts of the suspension that have been modififed.

Dude thats a nice looking truck but i would also be one to suggest a 3" lift. Youll get way better mileage and not have as many issues. My DCLB with a 3" lift has 218k and all suspension components are perfect still (lift has over 100k on it). My truck also sits higher than a stock silverado with my 33" tires... by no means small.

Maybe we can avoid a 6" vs. 3" shitfest, and try and help the guy figure out what's wrong with his truck? Just askin'

I don't think it's a shitfest. The higher you lift your truck the more issues that you must take into consideration. Pretty much everyone here is of the same opinion that a 3" lift or going back to stock would most likely help his issue.

So would going back to stock. But many folks seem to successfully run 6" drop bracket lifts without issue. So there's probably something wrong/broken/installed incorrectly with this setup in particular, wouldn't you agree?

i think you should get rid of the lift it sounds like it was incorrectly installed and ended causing damage that really sucks how much money youve completely wasted on trying to look cool but in the end you should do what avoids costing you more money in the future which might be either selling the truck altogether or getting a 3 inch lift and trying to sell your old shit i dont know why you are having problems though plenty of people on here run 6 inch lifts and are fine

Dunno.... All we have is a glamour shot of his truck ;)

I mentioned going back to stock. But... the higher the lift the more things you must take into consideration. Something is obviously not right though.

Like others are saying it sounds to me like it was installed incorrectly...3 inch lifts can have their problems too.

If its not 5100s, OME, or LT, not many people are going to like your truck on Tacomaworld
