Long time lurker, first time poster :)

Hey all -- My name is Bobby and I live in Orlando, Florida. I've lurked the forums here for quite some time, but finally decided to join.

I started my Toyota journey with a 1989 Toyota pickup that I bought used in 1994 when I turned 16 and drove that bad boy until I purchased my first new vehicle, a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab that I drove until last Wednesday. 217,000 miles and taken to 45 of the 48 states on the mainland here, but she finally met her demise when I hydroplaned on the interstate during a rain storm and slammed into a concrete barrier. I escaped with only a sore neck, but my truck wasn't as lucky. I'm not afraid to admit that I shed a tear when they towed her away . I was really hoping to hit 300,000 miles before upgrading, but such is life.

I have now purchased a brand new 2016 Silver Tacoma (Double Cab, TRD Sport / 2WD) and what an upgrade . I've read a lot of the "complaints" on this board, but obviously this was quite an upgrade from my last one so I'm loving it. Looking forward to blacking out the grille, getting meatier tires, and putting a good system in her (I'm big into music). I'm also looking forward to scouring the forum for ideas and to see other mods folks do. I just realized I haven't taken any pics of my truck yet -- I should probably get on that! .
