I've been watching and learning from this forum for while. My first Taco was a 2000 SR5 which Toyota bought back from me for $16K with 145000 miles due to a pinhole in the frame. Thank you Toyota ,you have purchased my loyalty. In 2008 Tacos were in short supply and I had to make due with a Corolla for a while, great mileage, not a truck though. When the lease was up I bought a 2011 TRD OR, the sound system sucked so I had it removed and and replaced with JL speakers , amp and sub. Sweet. Wet Okole's, Undercover on the bed. Very nice until we totaled it on the way home from OBX. Seat belts and air bags saved our lives.
All the aftermarket stuff was 500 miles from home so I had to leave it.
Spent the summer waiting for the 2013s to arrive and just got a 2013 limited. I know, too much chrome. but the wheels are growing on me. Heated seats are very nice in New England, ( my wife's VW's have had them for years) The JBL system has too much bass and not nearly as clear as my old JL system.
Anyway I guess it's about what you're going to use the truck for, I had a locking diff for a year and never used it once.
