    Hi

I've enjoyed this forum for several years now, and picked up form good information along the way. Joining it now because we're thinking about picking up a travel trailer, and need some advice and input.

We bought an '06 4x4 TRD Double Cab with tow package when it was new. It has 115000 miles on it now. No real mods except the rear spring TSB and a ABS override switch. The override is in because we've found that the ASB preforms very poorly in ice and snow. Only real issue was a broken rear axle, caused by (or initiated) a slide down an icy road, and ending up in a ditch. Axle was replaced under warranty, the switch installed, and no more problems.

Here is the truck several years ago on a cross country trip...in January. It's at a truck stop in West Virginia. Yes, that is ice, and no, this isn't when the axle broke (can't seem to get away from the stuff).
