First time this thing has been back home under its own power since last may

 

First actual rip in the dirt and this thing just floats.
I broke both headlights and one taillight, but it was so fun.

 

I guess I was too rough last night. Broke the core support in 2 spots, broke the grill too.

 

Can not stop looking at this thing. Need an engine cage asap to get rid of this weak core support

 

What did you do about steering rack? Still stock?

 

Yes sir. I know I'll have issues with it sooner than later, but I'm just going to see how long it'll last first

Great looking truck. Glass fenders on the access cab are wicked. 2WD or 4WD? If you had to take a ballpark guess on how much the build itself cost, what would you say?

 

Thank you. It's 4wd but I don't have the axles in, only the stubs so it's 2wd for now.

The truck has been through a couple stages but this current one with the price of the truck is above 60k.

 

Going to attempt to do this to my truck.

I really wanted to do an engine cage and build fender supports off of that. But after asking around, having an engine cage as a stand alone setup isn't the best thing

 

First time driving on the beach was badass

 

Finally did some underbody mudflaps, and limit straps tabs

E-brake cable is giving me anxiety in the beach photos though. strap that thing down to something. they're no fun to replace. you have to take the entire drum and all of it's bits and pieces apart to access the two bolts inside the drum, and then the center console gets to come out to connect it behind the shifter.

 

Funny you notice the e brake cable. I'm actually going to mount it where it's supposed to be today haha.

Nice man! Truck looked like it performed well. How come you pulled the fenders?

 

My inner fenders cracked in a couple spots so I figured taking the weight off might help reduce it.
