Yeah talked to him a little more, kid who owned it before him hadn't even installed the limit straps, I guess he just got in over his head with the kit.

i had some time to kill this afternoon when i stopped by the toyota dealership to pick up some tranny fluid. i looked at the new 2012 tacomas and test drove one of the baja editions just for shits and gigs...

shit. it's a really nice truck. over priced as shit, but damn nice. i forgot how smooth and nice a stock truck rides on the street. the shocks are dialed in and the rubber coated floor is sweet. kinda got me thinking about picking up a new truck as a DD and never ever molesting it...

side note: the salesmen are fucking retarded. they saw me pull up in my truck and were trying to tell me how much better the baja would do off road than my pile of shit and i asked them questions about the options on the truck and what not (i already knew the answers) and they either didn't know or made shit up...

like i said, i had time to kill so i sat down to "talk numbers" and make a deal... they offered to buy my truck off me. i played along, curious to see what they offered me for it. dude cam back and said he could give me $4,000. i lol'd so hard and told him how big of a slap in the face that was and that i will never buy a truck from them again (i bought my current truck from them back in 2004, they knew this). he shit bricks, apologized like a mofo, brought his supervisor over to apologize blah blah blah. i wasn't really mad, just having a little fun...

anyways, it's a nice ass truck, but for almost $40,000 sticker price... if i had to buy a brand new, stock truck in that price range... raptor for sure. also, i couldn't buy that truck when they offer the baja package in red :D

badass. I'd still rather have a LT taco with a one-piece conversion

Its a snap of a page in the Old 2010 Total Chaos Catalog. Not sure the background. I do have that thing they are holding tho. My grandmother gave it to me even since I was able to drive and have had it in every car since.
