Hate to be a stick in the mud here but did you decide to go with J-arm because you didn't want to redo the engine cage and go with a whole new lca + spindle setup?

Bump mounted off lower @ this point.. =/

Same lower control arms but new custom spindles and added bypasses.
Its really hard to explain with out seeing it in person. But Making J-arms saved a Ton of fab time!! I would have had to change my steering and a lot of other stuff that was already fabbed with my current set-up
Plus I raced in a J-arm for years with my good friend Nick and J-arms are fine. Its all preference. As far as bumpstops, I am moving them to the top to hit the spindle eventually.
Im not too worried about it. They were in that location for years and it was fine.

Its taking up space like it usually does in the garage. Kinda dusty with a few cob webs on it. I'm pretty random when I feel like putting money into the truck. Been spending on other hobbies and things for the house. Clutch is priority though. That thing is starting to get bad. To mount that clip I need to cut the bumper off and do that sub frame thing and new bumper. Also need a grille. The truck is what it is at this point. A tank of gas last like 2.5 weeks. So you can see how much I drive.

Those shocks are rather small and should fit almost vertically no problem.
