Is this a good deal? They are 2.5 8inch kings that were on a ranger. The guy is unsure of the spring rate. He is asking 750obo.

no way. those look way too beat up, and that dude is trying to rape you by asking for $750. if you get those you would need to rebuild them and maybe swap springs

for a little bit more $ you can buy brand new from DSM...

Did you ever pick up the Nylatron bushings? I need new uniballs and bushings on the chaos kit I picked up so I was wondering your thoughts.

no i didnt. i'm waiting till my poly bushings are shot cause i bought them brand new when i put my kit on. i've heard from a couple people that the nylatron bushings ad alot of vibes when driving but the added performance and handling make them well worth it.

they are a better quality and performing bushing, but not as "smooth" riding as the poly bushings for a DD driven truck

TC is gonna tell you that the nylatron bushings are not intended to be used on DD trucks. off road only. 06HALOE had nylatron bushings and he said his truck handled and took corners like a sports car.

do you have any idea why they give more vibrations? maybe a harder material that transfers energy instead of absorbing it?

    cool, good to know.

you think it would be worth it to do the leaf spring busshings with them? i'd assume you wouldn't really get vibes from that, and it would stiffen up the side to side play in the rear axle.

I had Delrin bushing in the leafs and everything in front. For the leafs it helped side to side play, the front was killing the rubber bushings so switched to delrin. Much better and I didn't get vibes, at least not from that.

I'm having that issue right now with my rear shackles. Too much side to side play. Delrin is the one that feels like super hard plastic right?
