TC will tell you not to use them on a DD. I liked them because they took a lot of slop out of the steering. The vibes are noticeable but worth it in my eyes. You just point it and go with the nylatron bushings. The engine cage was put on at the same time and added to the vibration too since the shock mounts dont move anymore.

If everything is reinforced and cant flex then the vibration has to go somewhere and in my case it was the steering wheel.

Yeah, kartek sells them. Make sure you get bushings with a big shoulder to keep the leafs together. My problem was my leafs would move around and the delrin stopped that.

Delrin bushings are good just expensive. On the front end of the prerunner/4x4 every bushing I had got killed in a matter of a month. I looked further into my issue. Factory arms have a metal washer on them where it touches the frame. So you need to get a washer or something in there so the slots for the alignment cams dont rip the bushings apart. I dont have alignment cams anymore so I put a weldable washer then the small gap filled the slot in with weld then ground smooth:D

Delrin is a great product. Squeeks like a motherfucker. Requires a ton of grease when installing and expensive. Last I looked Kartek was around 12bucks a piece. Unless you can find someone that can machine them for you. On the prerunner/4x4 u need 8 for the lower arms and for leafs you need 12. Thats a pretty penny.

Baja Mike at Kartek showed me some red hardened urathane bushings. There around 6bucks a piece. I have them on my front arms and my rear leafs. My rear bushings squeeek so im guessing i didnt get enough grease in them. I have had them on my truck about a year to day and are still holding up great. Only down fall I saw with them is there too big and I have to cut them down on the bandsaw. the flange is close to 1/2" wide.

So does that mean since my Camburg kit has uniballs in the inner lower arms would those bushings not really be needed or still beneficial in the upper arms? I guess that means I will have even more vibes than the bushings too?

I got those bad boys up front on my LT and was just thinking to put them in the rear shackle hanger. Turn my front end squeak to a whole truck whoop chirp-er. Yeah pretty much the only place I found that has them is Kartek. I know a few fab shops make their own. I might call them up to see if they machine them to leaf spring size.

Engage made mine, i would just buy the material and have a shop machine them, it's plastic can't be that hard.

Check Mc Master carr, they might have the material since they have everything else.

as for your lower arms you will not need bushings since it has the uniballs. But for the upper I dont know if these bushings would work since since i dont know tube diameter and the bolt size.

I just meant in general when you guys are doing those bushings for a TC kit do you do the top arms too or just the lowers? I was just thinking the lowers are where most of the flex would come in. Mine are brand new so I wouldnt replace them right now anyway. Just trying to gain some knowledge

Also if the vibes get worse with stiffer bushings, and I have uniballs, does that mean Im gonna get the vibes like a hooker on nickle night?
