What does every one do with the parking brake cable once you go SUA? or is it not in the way? it looks right in the way of where the springs would be...

 

I just mounted mine to the forward most leaf wrap bolt dealio- (ancient pic, but you get the idea)

 

I thought this was only an issue with 1st gens

 

how are most you guys running your SUA? the leading end of the leaf closest to the hood mounted under the frame?
and the rear end closest to bumper outside the frame with just a flipped and extended shackle?

 

The triple wrapped part goes to the front Hanger. Not sure about the shackles besides the fact that you need new hangers along with the flipped shackles.

You also need a new hanger for the front mounts, stock ones wont work with the 50T.

 

What shackles do you plan on running? Kibby custom ones or what?

 

basically all i know is tripple wrap up front.. thats easy.. under the frame though right? with stock front hangar or new one?

and the rear will sit outside the frame with new hangar and new shackle?

 

yeah i think im going kibbe custom shackles with my engage pack... i went there today at 2 oclock and picked them up for 750 with bushings: no crush sleeves...

only to come home and see he posted back2school sale for 630 with free bushings AND crush sleeves... at 11:00... he didnt tell me and still sharged me the 750 more than unhappy

 

Yes under the axle. New front hanger, rear hanger/shackles.

I don't really understand your second question but if its about the shackle assembly being on the outside then yes, wherever your rear stuff is right now it'll look pretty much the same but bigger and inverted. I would have Kibbe do some sort of hanger crossmember from Bolt to bolt or just pick up the one that Defined makes and box the frame.

 

I'd be more then pissed. Thats just wrong.
