Maybe a spacer under the bump so you hit the bump before slamming the misalignment through the fender well?

 

Ya exactly what I will be doing.

Total Chaos LT kits come with a 1" spacer, iirc the size, that gets welded between the bump and the bracket.

 

Yeah, when you cycle it, you will know how big of a spacer to run too

 

Wish I did more probing with questioning and research before I installed the kit.

IE: what the valving was
asking about the spindles with the kit
I no longer have adjustment left in my tie rods due to the extension, no more threads available

Oh well, live and learn. Now I will get it done right eventually.

 

Im sure you know this but the 2nd gen Camburg kit pulls 15" with 2wd. Im not sure if the extra is up or down or both but I would get a BFH and move the fender well

 

Well it cant be up because on the passenger side the ABS hydraulic motor....is exactly where the uniball cup beats into the fender well, ask me how I know Unless you are supposed to move the motor, bend new hard brakes lines and things of that nature.

I think its down-travel cause there is no CV's to bind at droop

 

No I'm saying that may be why your hitting the UCA so hard and other 2nd gen camburg kits are not. Im pretty sure your upper adapter that goes in the coil bucket is different than the 4wd version and that is why your smashing the fender well. Where did RJ move his ABS motor?

 

^^This, cycle it without springs and move everything thats in the way. Give yourself a tiny bit of room on the shock shaft and hydro bump it right there. I know thats not all possible right now but thats what you want the end goal to be. The only real problem with rubber bumps is your guessing how far they finish compression

 

Maybe he took the time and properly bumped the front. Going to shoot him a PM.

Well he has no fender wells so he had to move it lol. I know he mounted everything on his engine cage Im just not sure of where each thing went

 

Oh, well maybe the placement is different between the V6 and 4 cylinder which I am. Shot him a PM anywho.

F* it...maybe I will remount the motor, already have an outline of the upper arm in the fender, just cut out that sheet metal.

Seriously considering getting those SAW doubles tomorrow
