I'm on the fence about the one piece also..pros: it looks awesome..it is lighter..comes off quick

Cons: if it breaks it's kind of expensive..you lose windshield washer fluid ability..

I barely use my windshield washer fluid. plus its lighter so more HPs:rolleyes:
Im liking the ease of taking it off as well and the amount of access you have once its off.

What are you gonna do about the cab splitting on the bottom? I am planning on caging my truck next summer and am worried because my cab is split on the bottom as well.

well once u cage it the flex and cracks and ect stop. so we are gunna cut a section out and re-plate it and bondo or get it close enough and weld it up depending how bad it really is. im re-doing all of my cab mounts because most of them are slightly bent and since its gunna be caged im just gunna make them solid mounted so i never have to worry again. after the cage is done the truck will be painted so u wont even be able to tell haha. pluss the spliting is in the back of the cage behind where all the back tubbing is so u wont even really see back in there so as long as its sealed up and u cant tell then im happy. we start monday at the shop up in Hemet so illbe posting picts on my build thread on here and DR through the next couple of weeks on it if u wanna follow my junk

How difficult is it to make it hinged on the front near the grille?

not that hard, but its much easier if u have a full engine cage otherwise u'll probably have to weld it to the core support and that wont be too clean. The clip looks great and its nice u can rip everything off, but as said if u just have it on there without hinges and ect and ur by yourself it can be a challenge to get off haha, ive mastered it tho and am very happy with mine

You could make something work from the back of your bumper tube.

Anyone ever seen these guys before? Meet them this weekend at Silver Lake. Not often we see a trophy truck our way.
