Long Travel BS Thread

Ok so I bought the 50t install kit so i can finally finish up my rear end. Butttt I do not have a reference point of where my stock front leaf hanger used to hang. I need the center point of where the stock front leaf is. Can someone with a double cab measure from the end of the rectangle whole to where the center line of the leaf bolt meets please. Heres a crappy pic of what i mean. I hope BandWagon doesn't mind i borrowed his pic for this

I measured 14.5 inches away from that hole

 

From the end of the hole to the center of the leaf bolt? or in a straight line to where the bolt would be on the frame?

just ordered 60/40 valving

 

sweet what did you have before? and whered you come up with this vavling?

 

30/50 before and Scott from camburg gave me the 60/40 and I ordered from dsms and they recommended to double up on one specific shim for high shaft speed usage. I'll post up the specifics when I get the invoice. Pretty stupid excited to have compression added, much needed.

Ill also maybe try to get some footage ie video and suspension footage on the before and after to possibly see the difference

 

So I'm running the icon rear resi's with deaver j59 pack and obviously it can't keep with front, I beat the snot out of it. Which leads me to my question.....had a bad noise regear redone at yota masters, came out great. Nice n quiet. Now I noticed a very small vibration at 40-55 that showed back up at higher speeds. Not bad and barely noticeable. So I go back in and he (Eric at yotamasters) drives it and barely feels it. Put it up on rack and let it idle......fuck! drive shaft is bent!!! Has a little wobble. Not crazy but defenately noticable now that truck is quiet and no bad bearing.

So how the fuck does this happen? I could see if I bashed on rocks or something...or could having the rear buck up hard off whoops do it? I was thinking maybe it's from when I blew diff on hill climb and had original regear done....idk!!!

Edit*1st regear was not yota master.
