you could prob run the kings along with the camburg UCA's, but you would have to confrim that with camburg, just to be safe. but not to burst your bubble, but why get a silverado to build as your weekend toy? build up your tacoma... it's a mucher better truck to bump alot of money into.

building up any truck (properly) is expensive, but full size trucks are even more. plus, both those kits are mid travel kits... they can take some abuse but not alot. you wont be able to tear around the dezert as fast as you would like to

if you want a weekend toy, put a hitch on the back of your tacoma, buy a trailer and get one of these bad boys :D

^unless you turbo that thing, it's slow as hell. You really gotta be tactical in the dunes, otherwise the power is consumed by the deep sand.

    Matt,

I totally agree with you! I honestly have seen some Silverados and they do look badass with mid travel kits... I probably don't have 10K right now to shell out for front and rear LT. The Tacoma would do better out there in the dezzy though I just can't see myself hacking metal off right now I don't know what to do at this moment

it seems like there are more of those rhinos around here all the time. dunno the laws in CA but they are street legal in WY, and lots of people drive them to save on gas. its scary when they cut you off in traffic!!!

since LT guys are the suspension experts, im hoping you guys can tell me what to do. My trucks ride quality has progressively gotten worse over the last year or so. I replaced the stock shocks all around with monroes, (in retrospect that was clearly a mistake) as well as the front coils. the rear leafs are factory to the best of my knowledge. when i hit any kind of significant bump (i.e. pothole or washboarded road) the back end sometimes goes sideways, and the front end always seems to slam rather than soak stuff up. whats the deal here? do i need different shocks or is there a bigger problem? thanks for the help fellas

I was thinking more that there was a worn part or something that someone could point out because they had seen it before. but ya, if one was to get coilovers to replace the struts, say a 0-3.5" set, what would be the most "economical" brand to look into that makes a good performing set?

    $150-bilstein 5100's.
    Where do you buy em?
    Downsouth motorsports.

Cheap coilovers? They don't really exist. I picked mine up for $450 used and had them rebuilt by ^ downsouth for a resonable price. New? over $1000, but do they kick butt? Hell yes. In reality, most people don't really need em, so check out the bilsteins

You might be right as I drove a Rhino and it felt like my ancient nissan pickup. It was to say the least, boring.
