Sweet mutherfack. Is that a luxury prerunner? It looks like either brenthel motorsports or stewart raceworks.

Theres a series on the stewart raceworks youtube channel where they show you how they build them. Its insane to see one smashed up because the time and craftsmanship it took to make that truck is mind boggling.

helper springs are used in a triple rate shock set up, about the main and tender springs, IIRC, mainly used to keep the main and tender springs against the spring plates at full droop. What you have is a tender coil.

Nope. This is another one. 2 luxury Raptors taken out prerunning the 1000 this year.

Unless he got a new one, that little top spring is actually just a 4" race spring.

    lol. :jerkoff:
Whats with you trying to call bullshit on everything im running? :notsure:

    Anyway,
Just looked up my part number. Its a 4" "offroad spring".

So, My question is.. Everything i've read from looking up my part numbers just says its an "offroad spring" (^), would there be a problem with me squishing it up a little when I add preload like a tender/helper spring? or will it just act as so?

EDIT: Just to clarify, when I looked it up "Offroad spring" had its own category, as did "tender spring" and "helper spring" thus the confusion..

Woah! Easy man... I wasn't calling BS on anyone.

I worded it wrong. What I was trying to say was that the spring is neither a tender nor a helper spring, both of which aren't suitable for supporting the weight of a truck.

The only other time I ever said anything short of complimentary to you was regarding front end travel and we both know how that ended.

Thanks! I would have thought so (common sense)

Just didnt want to potentially sag out the spring prematurely if that could have been the case.

    Any more info guys?

RJ I would have to see your truck. Depending on how you want your set-up, you have a couple options. I can call my buddy Brian who works at KING and get all the correct info for optimal spring suggestions. He knows whats up. He did all my springs stuff on my truck and it works perfect.
I am at work right now but I can get that info tomorrow if you need it. Just call or text me if you want homie
