Its just 1" more than tc or camburg. Is it really that bad?

that's limited by the 8" shocks mostly, if you cut the coil bucket and use some 10" shocks the you can fully use the arms. LSK is also making recessed lower shock mounts on their race kit, like all their other kits, so you can squeeze a bigger shock in there. They cant recess the lower shock mounts on the stock replacement kits because it wont clear the 4x4 axles.

Not saying they're perfect, but I don't think the Maxtrac's are any better and for Hiatt having to run spacers on top of that just don't make sense too me

It all really depends on preferance. I don't know if you have seen an engage kit in person like socal rodies but his is 4 in over per side and it looks fuckin huge and thats only 1/2 in wider then tc and burg. I think with 4 1/2 in over per side you would be fine if you like how wide the engage kit sits but 7 in is way to big it would look and handle retarded

Wheel & Tire Setup effects it as well. Also it's only 1" wider per side but 2" overall on the track width, which isn't massive but still significant.

Look at the Solo Motorsports kit, the kit is 4.5" wide and it's quite wide in the front.

I'd also suggest switching out to 6"+ Wide Glass Fenders with a kit that wide:cool:

Right now Engage is pretty much the only company that makes a 4.5" over kit, and you cant use other companies' spindles with them because engage runs the lower uniball in the LCA itself, not on an adapter. LSK plans to have the uniball in the adapter like TC and Camburg, but be 4.5" over, and have boxed and heimed uppers. They will make sure it works with stock and after market spindles, along with their own fabricated stock spec spindles for 4x4 and 2wd, depending on the hubs. Their race kit will be completely different, with vertical uniballs and recess shock mounts, 2wd only.

They have gone to a lot of people and asked what they like to see in a new kit and what they dont like about the kits that are already out there. Their aim is to really shoot the gap and make something that really does not already exist out there, and it's pretty exciting. Jen's truck is going to have their 4.5" over 4x4 kit with 930 CVs and fabricated spindle.

pretty sure engage kits are 4.5" per side but I could be wrong.

Well Solo claims 19" strapped and bumped with their setup, so LSK should be in the 16-19" range, depending on how the 930 Joints workout

we're not going to really claim anything just yet, we're sticking with horizontal uniballs with the 4x4 kit unlike Solo's vertical uniball kit, so there will be a difference there, but at least people can choose to run stock spindles or LSK spindles. RCV has two kinds of CVs we're looking at, one with 24 degrees of movement, the other with 28 degrees, but there are price differences.
