So another question, for your truck would you rather have
Open, limited slip, or locked rear diff?anf pros and cons of each.

If you can afford it go with a selectable locker like ARB

Aiming to bring top of the line suspension, at a very affordable cost. As well as helping the off-road community
The "hard" part of these spindles is the hub block. After that is done we can do pretty much anything you guys want. We're still waiting to hear back from a couple machinists about the hub blocks. after that its game on. While we want to move toward a solid product line, right now everything is pretty much "one off" and can be adapted toward your needs at very little aditional cost. Even the LT kit is as easy easy as changing a dimension from "4.5" to "3.5" in CAD and they become a 3.5 over arms. We're working with RCV for our axles so everything from stock outer and inner CVs with extended axles to full on badass 930 inners and their outers will be available based on budget . We're not some big bad suspension company that's set in our ways. haha. We love feedback.

You know, I highly doubt Toyota decided to change the snout dimensions throughout the years so the hub/bearing assembly is probably the same as they were from 79-86 4x4 with the solid axle. Maybe try to see if they are the same and then do a snout block for the SA snouts that are 5 bolt and swap everything over. It is even possible to retain 4x.

For the LT (4WD) I'd look into a D60 or D44 snount like Solo did, expect use an outter CV instead of a Ujoint. This would definitely be the easiest route to go, and strongest, as then stronger wheel bearings, Etc could be utilized

That's a pretty good idea. I'll buy that kit once your shop makes it.

I've been working on a bolt-in spindle that uses a version of the above mentioned idea for my truck for a little while now, just haven't had any time to put serious detail into it.

That is what I'm on the fence about. The Dana 44 hub block is already done. We use it on our ranger race kit then we could just use 6 lug Chevy brake setups. On the other side is you have to worry about the speed sensor. Does anybody have issues with the stock hub assembly?

Blowing out stock wheel bearings on the 2nd Gen tacomas, its common for the wheel bearing to go bad. I'm getting ready to replace my 3rd one tomorrow. I have replaced two on the driver side and now the passenger side.

Could possibly adapt the stock brake setup onto it as well, don't see it being overly complicated for that portion.

Speed sensor would require more work into calculating the equivalent positioning on a D44 setup vs stock, also do able.

Stock Hub/Wheel Bearing Assemby doesn't like larger tires, so they wear out quite fast

Talked to Aaron over at LSK. We might be shortening the kit to 3.5 if it doesnt get rid of too much travel. Hopefully we can get started next week! :)

There was a set on DR, trying and find the link now.

They pop up every once in while but it may take a few weeks+ to find them.

Little late on the spindle discussion but I started talking to American Motorsports about a fully fab'd lift spindle. I was thinking around 2-2.5" high and 1" wide. They're pretty busy but I might be dropping my truck off with them sometime soon to get started.

Not a bad idea. Especially for you LT prerunners who need a real spindle.

I'd try to keep the width increase to 0.5" or less to have the least effect on handling and steering feel.

Remember the difference in the feel in steering when you switched back to stock spindles? Well you're going to loose that with a n increased width
