Any desert LT guys run treadweights? $600 for a set of 35s got me thinking...but prior to the grabbers I destroyed a few toyo ATs from offroading so I was wondering what type of abuse they can take. Thanks!

They are durable. they have held up well on the same sharp rocks that have chunked the hell out of my past tires and other peoples i was wheeling with. i air mine down to between 10 and 15 psi normally, and they hold a bead very well, even in high lateral force situations. keep in mind though, that holding the bead has nothing to do with treadwright, but rather what carcas you choose,

The treadwrights are a great deal for the $$, I dont know how many tread patterns they have , the ones I've seen are the same but its an fairly aggressive one, shit as long as the rubber laminated isn't too soft you should get decent mileage with them..

Another relatively cheap tire option is Pro Comp A/T Extremes. The tread pattern is pretty much a mild M/T. I am on my second set and they have impressed me - and I beat the shit out of tires. They are stable at high speed in the dirt as any other tire and they do well rock crawling. I have not torn a sidewall yet on these, and I have torn several BFG and Nitto sidewalls in the past.

They're generally $200-300 per tire depending on size. 4wheelparts runs buy 3 get 1 free specials from time to time as well.

I would have to say all of them, A 4x and a 2x kit are identical minus the addition of cv axles on the 4x kit and the inability to run a lift spindle.

It's going to do everything a 2x kit is going to do, but at the extremes is limited by the cv axle and might pull a little less travel depending on the kit. But you have four wheel drive, which is worth it's weight if you ask me.

Quick question/try to clear things up i have the chance to get a total chaos 3.5 kit for pretty cheap, but its on a 97- 2002 ish 4runner, would that be able to bolt onto my 98 tacoma i looked on chaos website and couldnt tell, also would there be any way to make the coilovers work with stock LCA's?

    Thanks
