I guess limit straps are only for cool people.

    Spoonman,

Definitely wish I would've gone with the TC kit.

I plan to rectify the situation in the future by building my own LCA's. I figure I can use the AP LCA to build a jig. I want boxed construction and the ability to mount a secondary shock.

Not talking shit just confused. So you don't like their construction of the arms (the easy part) so you want to build a new one using their geometry (the hard part)? Seems counter intuitive to me?

No problem man, always looking for input from you guys with experience.

They're a tubular arm so there's no secondary shock mount. I want to keep the same uppers/CV's/tie rods and I like the 2" over track width, so my train of thought was to use their lower to build a jig, so I will maintian the same geometry.

Then build a plate constructed lower that will keep those three points in the same relation, but will have the surface area for a secondary shock mount.

yep, looks fine to me, thats how i do it every time, my jack stands arent tall enough so i use blocks of wood. dont really see a problem with it.
now if those arent wood blocks and they are bricks or something.... then thats really dangerous IMO

    i went a different route...

i found some pedestal mount amber signal lights for a Harley on ebay for $40 and wired directly to those...

with the front bumper off, i noticed some mounting points that the bolts fit right into...

took about 5 minutes to wire up and mount...

the lights are somewhere between 3 and 4 inches round, so they are nice and visible...

The bitch pull-ablity is off the charts. These only work in conjunction with the DTF LT kit :D
