why does the rear bypass have so much front to back movement ?

i assume thats normal, but how does that work for the guys on here that go sua and just cut a small hole in the bed for the bypass if it needs that much movement from bump to droop ?

It's due to the "swing" of the leaf springs under compression & droop. They move in a pendulum throughout the suspension travel

like krish's truck if the bypass needs that much front to back movement how does everyone get away with only cutting holes big enough for the shock its self

I need mine to have 2 eyelets though for a smooth body and a bypass. How much were the ones American Motorsports made? Have any pics?

I think RJ still has a set of TC mounts he's trying to get rid of.

Got LSK to mount my bumpstops and I just painted them. Its crazy to be there to see what it takes just to mount the bumps. Its never as easy at it seems on the computer. lol

Thanks guys. Ya it took a while but I'm glad we took the time to get it right the first time. We took the coils off the foxes and then jacked up each side to full bump. Then we took the arms down a hair so the bumps would bottom out before the suspension ends its travel cycle. Then we got some cardboard and made some bracket templates and Van jumped on the computer, measured all of the brackets dimensions and laser jetted out some brackets out of 1/8" steel and welded the bumps on. Super happy with them. Its weird to get used to because you think the suspension will cycle when driving and it will eventually hit bump but with these it just comes to a nice gradual stop. :)
