If you want to call it that. I've been working in customs/racing for a few years.

First I built streetbikes and chopper/bobbers (where "Bobber Bill" comes from), some sales and even my own short run production parts.

I've moved onto other things, but metal fab is still an ongoing gig. Motorcycles are no longer my focus. Now I pit, prep and fabricate for friends who race HDRA and BITD. I am also in transportation design, I will be designing the cars you will be driving in 10 years.

I just never chose to advertise myself as a "shop." I had a few friends, or clients if you want to call them that, from all around the world who liked my work and fed me enough low key business to avoid any sort of inflated internet title/ego.

taking the factory CV axles out of the outer CVs is the hardest part of the process. Just watch the video Cory posted.

When you have tried for more than an hour to snap the stock axle out of the stock outer CV, the splines may be seized with the inner race of the outer CV. At that point you need to decide whether you are going to have to keep trying to or cut the stock axles right at the outer CV. Once you cut the stock axle, you can flip the race around in the outer CV and take the inner race out (still with part of the axle seized in it). Then you take the seized part to a shop and have them press it out for you. Clean off the factory race and CV real good and you are ready to insert the new LT axles.

Its a bitch and pain in the ass no matter how you do it and you'll be cursing like a drinking sailor. If you cant get it done yourself then I would recommended taking the shafts to a driveline shop and let them deal with .
