I hate how high my Tacoma sits up front, so I've been search pics of other Gen 1 Tacomas and noticed they all sit like monster trucks. Without actually pulling the truck apart I'm guessing it's due to the length of the coil over and stock coil bucket, without cutting the coil bucket out is there anyway to drop my ride height about 4"?

Mine sits low. At least to me it does. I got 600 rate springs with about 1.25" of preload on them. Let most or all of the preload out of the coilover if you feel its still too tall, try going a lower spring rate.

Not a clue, I bought the truck as is and haven't touched the suspension at all.

Only got about an inch of preload into the shocks and that's not going to be enough to get it lower like I'd like.
Your truck was actually the 1st one I looked at and from the pics it seems to sit just as high as mine does.

If it all works out I'm going to be changing kit's so I'd like to get this sorted out before I order new shocks and springs Monday

Front def looks high...and the rear looks low. Mine is 600 lb 16" spring with tapered spring retainer. About 1/4" of preload on passenger side and about an inch on the drivers side.

That sucks, yes it will throw toe off. Remember Always do
Caster then Camber and Toe always last. Its pretty simple to do an alignment.

i should be able to get the camber in spec...so how much does rotating the cam from the middle to all the way in actually change the camber? im gonna do this tomorrow....the home alignment thing it a little confusing to me....i know my caster is terrible, but it drove really good. Steering feels way different with heims.
