I'm leaning toward the hex head also. I'm not seeing the socket for the tri-groove but I'll call them and see whats up. I considered just tacking the end of the bolt but I just want to pull the bolt and not crack out the grinder every time.

I keep :drool::eek::drool: over that truck. I might be getting a silverado next, I would love something like that. But I do like having the 4wd.

Anyone running a double bypass upfront as a secondary instead of a triple? Any major pro's or con's I should be aware of. I understand the difference between the double and triple. Just curious of anyone with experience with running it.

Triples are coming in around $400 more for the pair and I'm trying to save a little.

i know rj is running doubles up front, as far as triples i dont know. you could almost have the second tube on your triple(if you decide to go with them) be your bump zone if you wanted.

    edit: second compression tube*

Didn't realize RJ had doubles. Correct, on a triple you can use the last tube as a transition to the bumpzone. Which would be nice, but I'm really looking for the extra dampening. I can always get a hydro bump in the future, and my wheelers bumps feel nice for now.

Under most circumstances I would say you are 100% correct. It's just that all the major spending I'm going to be able to do on the truck for a pretty long time is going to end in the next few months.

Gotta pay for a wedding in September, honeymoon shortly after, and need to make myself be more serious about my house fund.

If it wasn't for those things I would have already had the triples lol. I was given authorization for one last major purchase lol

I assumed as much, even with the doubles they are over my budget for the few things I'm doing so I'm walking a tight line.

The only thing a tripple does is allow you to soften your bump zone, who wants to to do that?
With a double or tripple, you're still going to have a bump zone, one might just be more noticeable them the other, haha
