Just curious...how did everyone else paint their glass? Rattle can that shit with some patience? Or professional shop? What is the average cost to get them painted? (Picking up some glassworks 4")

 

In Apple Valley, they are at Engage tho. in Pamona.

 

I love the look of them too. really happy how the fiberwerx came out. Would be a fool not to mount a one piece while the engine cage is being built tho. Oh does anyone want a non scooped hood?

 

i painted my glass myself. i bought a cheap HPLV spray gun and an air/water separator for the compressor and then color matched paint and clear.

paint/clear was about 300 in total and the gun was 35 bucks.



the morning after i finished the bedsides. i ran out of paint and clear to do the fronts the same night.

 

Wow that turned out awesome. I don't have a garage to create an adequate paint hut though.

 

yeah i was stoked on it. if you plan on painting them on the truck (i did that) make sure you have enough room AND ventilation. if its off the truck, you could do it in your backyard if its not windy at all.

 

Well, the glass is off the truck...and I live in an apartment lol. Was considering some color matched duplicolor followed by some clearcoat...

 

That sucks because I'm gonna be in apple valley sunday lol

 

If I was home I would swing by the shop and pick them up. They aren't going anywhere. Im in no rush.
