    dual rate springs, more fluid doesn't get as hot as fast. but its not that much of a difference

    The limiting factor for travel is the 8" shock/stock mounting location which maxes out at 14-15" of travel with most kits. More travel is gained by cutting out the stock C/O mounts and having a custom mount w/ a horizontal uniball spindle. So yes the advantage is the dual spring rate w. a 10" shock, more oil, and changing the limiting travel factor to the vertical uniball

    is an 8" coilover the biggest you can run with stock mounts? how would you not gain more from a hoop and a bigger coilover?

    Because there isn't a kit for sale that keeps the stock shock tower and uses anything other than an 8" shock.
