More travel?

 

dual rate springs, more fluid doesn't get as hot as fast. but its not that much of a difference

 

Thts it? Only reason I'm debating is cause I found to set of 2.5x10" bypasses for cheap

 

The limiting factor for travel is the 8" shock/stock mounting location which maxes out at 14-15" of travel with most kits. More travel is gained by cutting out the stock C/O mounts and having a custom mount w/ a horizontal uniball spindle. So yes the advantage is the dual spring rate w. a 10" shock, more oil, and changing the limiting travel factor to the vertical uniball

i have a similar question... 8's or 10's? ill be picking up a uniball tc kit so ill need coils as well.. since i have to build hoops anyways is there any difference other than a few inches of travel with that kit? (and before anyone says more travel or more fluid, im asking specifically for this kit http://www.chaosfab.com/84-95-2WD-Pickup-Long-Travel-Suspension-Kit-92200.html )

is an 8" coilover the biggest you can run with stock mounts? how would you not gain more from a hoop and a bigger coilover?

why do most who run a 10" go with a custom hoop?

 

Because there isn't a kit for sale that keeps the stock shock tower and uses anything other than an 8" shock.

 

I heard about these comments through the grapevine. . I would also LOVE to hear yhe answer rj??

And 3500 for tires?? Seems legit
