Rock chips seem to get the paint faster, especially on the bedsides, and a good size rock is going through the clear and the paint. I don't think there is much you can do to completely stop that. Dirt colored truck FTW :D

Some body shops use a clear plastic film made by 3M. When i was an insurance appraiser we would always have to add it on the fenders for this very reason. It's a few mil thick, and really helps. Once it's beat up, can peel it off and slap a new one on. I just forget the name of it. Think of a cell phone screen protector type stuff.

Anyone have any 16" ~700lb or 18" 600lb coils they would be willing to get rid of? I just put some 18" 700lb coils on my 8" c/os and my CV fins are very unhappy, my truck also "springs" itself up when backing off a curb and doesn't settle until driven, is this just from too much spring? My original 16" 600lb springs weren't able to hold my truck up without a bunch of pre-load, and I figured it wasn't good to have a bunch of pre-load, am I correct or should I just go back to the originals?

sounds like the rebound numbers are incorrect. what rebound/ compression numbers you got? and do you still have the 600 pounders lying around? im pretty sure my 450s will be too soft.

Sounds on par.... I wanted to shoot myself in the head last engage kit I worked on. Is there any crush sleeves in the lower arm bushings?

Where does the uca rub? Could you trim the bucket so it doesn't rub and the spacer on the uca to get the nut on? Damn I wasn't doing anything all day. I would have totally helped.

It ended up being Preload and too much nitro in my bumpstops.

Yeah when i installed a kit before, you have to grind the coilbucket a little to clear.

Myself, and everyone iv talked to has had issues installing theirs haha how did your LCAs go in? That was the toughest part on mine, the arm was way off we had to bend the shit out of the tabs, make sure you have the spacers for the uca in the right order, and as for there not being enought room for the nut, you have to cut i think one of the spacers down, i dont remember exactly, but its a pain in the ass haha DTFtacoma helped me install mine (twice) im sure he has plenty to say about it haha
