haha awesome, yeah a linked truck on the street is interesting

No, no wheel spacers, they would be like 6" spacers to get this wide. it has a rough stuff 9" axle in it

    that's fucking amazing

wow cant believe you still have that! i dont have anything left from that disaster

Once it goes in my photobucket account, the chances of it every getting kicked outta the photobucket are pretty slim! LOL It's like a historical reference place.

what i thought. Still a toyota axle?

also any 1st gens that have done spindle gussets. When you remove the spindle to weld it on. Do you have to remove the wheel bearing? Ive heard its a super big PITA to remove the wheel bearing and set new ones..

I've welded them in place just with the Upper BJ pulled due to new UCAs.

No its a custom axle http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/FORD9.html

You do not need to remove spindle, just remove the top bolt to the upper arms so you can move the spindle around more. Ive welded many still on the truck.

Well ill have my spindles off anyways as i have to drill and pull a LBJ bolt that got sheared off and hopefully be installing a LT kit at christmas so figured good time to do the gussets as well.

Just all the pics i have seen there is no wheel bearing..but i think the hub/wheel bearing just gets unbolted from the spindle..

    98 toyota tacoma, stock
question, so i have the 50t pack, 2 full size spares hanging off the back, 13inch shackles mounting above the frame, bed cage. how much lift over stock is this going to provide? i was expecting about 4 inches of lift.... should i be expecting more?
i also have a 22 gallon fuel cell that is not mounted yet.. i might mount it just for weight purposes at the moment.

also im looking to carry a tool box in the bedcage, what kind if spare parts should i always have?i havent broken alot of parts but i want the peace of mind.
    plan so far-
    2 spare cv axles
    thats about it..

No clue how much "lift" it actually gave but this is a 50T pack, 12" shackles above frame, 2 spares, 32 gallon cell behind the cab. Single battery in the back at this stage. The truck is sitting on 35's.

    ...too much shit to list.
I doubt you'll get 4" of lift. At least not after the pack settles.
Here's mine when the pack was just put on. 2 spares, 12" shackle over the frame, most of the bed, small toolbox and aluminum jack:

As it sits today after beating the shit out of the pack:
