Wtf is that made out of? My 2007 tundra got nailed at 35mph by a full size SUV and didn't budge a bit. Totaled the SUV though.

i was stuck and when my buddy tried to pull me out it popped then got bent haha.

Ah ha! I was trying to figure out how the hell you do that out in the sand. Makes sense. Did you hook the strap up to the driver's side corner of the bumper or did it slide out there when he pulled?

 

The bumpers may bend, but that's not a bad thing Landon. It's good to still have a crumple zone on a non caged and even a caged truck.

 

i swear mine was made out of conduit hahaha...after it bent i was able to rip the whole end off

 

yeah. i stopped on the top of a dune and didnt realize my wheel wasnt straight so when i straightened it, the front tires kinda dug into the sand. my buddy couldnt get behind me so pullled up the dune and just tried pulling me down and yeahhh.. didnt work out as we though hahaha.

after that happened, we were able to push it out

 

From just the force of being pulled out? That's bad no matter what. I get engineered weak points but not this bad.

100% possible to tow from a tube bumper/tire carrier if it's properly integrated into the frame and has strength built into the right areas.
