Well here is the help...straight from the horses mouth. I am running the All-Pro LT kit, and was running it with extended Donahoes(ICONS). It can be done but you are $$$ ahead to just bite the bullet and get the Fox's with the kit (10% off with the kit).

    The proof:

    2011-06-02_143014_5192bd508af677648262115b312482dede95a849.jpg

    The reasons are:

    1. The shock spacers All-Pro sells wont fit the Icons without modification. The upper shot mount extends above the top (mounting) plate more than the Fox's. This means the bore in the spacer needs to be deeper. Not a big deal.

    2. The minor misalignment spacer for the lower shock mount are wider than the opening in the lower control arm. I cut 3/16" length off of one side to make it fit.

    3. The lower shock mount eyelet is made for a slightly larger bolt than the shock mount bolt that goes through the lower arms. This loose fit knocks every time the travel direction of the lower arm changes. The difference isn't enough that a sleeve or spacer could be used. Had to live with it. Could have enlarge the hole through the lower arms or had special misaligns made with the smaller bore.

    4. With the spacer installed, the travel of the ICON is slightly more than the kit can handle. At full droop the CV would bind ever so slightly. I never had a problem with this, but I noticed it one day in the garage with the truck jacked up. With the tire suspended, when turned would lift up 1/4" when the CV rotated through the binding. This isnt good but like I said, I never had an issue. Straps could resolve this or machining a bit off of the overall shock spacer height could too.

    5. The heavy duty steering kit which comes with the LT kit also interferes with the ICON coilover. The shock body dimensions place the coil to close enough to the tie-rod, such that it pinches the steering boot and tears it.

So there you have it. Sorry for the long post. I ran the 'Hoes and just got through installing the Fox's from AP. I will give my comparison once I road test the Fox's.

So can i use any manufacturers UCA gussets or since i went with Engage I need them to fab up their own gussets?

Also anyone know any major difference between the Spindle gussets from different companies? The All-Pro and Total Chaos regular gussets look exactly the same. However the TC gussets that can still use the sway bar look much more reinforced than the non sway bar one. And you need at least 4.5" bs to run the sway bar type gusset.

    Thanks in advance.

I know i've mentioned this before, but this just doesn't seem normal for it to lean this much on a full tank of gas, not to mention I have the spare tire on the passenger side to try and correct the problem

If unbalanced weight is the probelm could you take out a leaf on the passenger side or is that a no-no?

They are all about the same man. I have the TC ones on my first gen but I had a set of All Pro ones on my old second gen. I thin the AP ones are cheaper price wise. But quality wise I see no difference

Look on my build page. on the picture from behind looking at my bed cage and tires you can see its leaning to one side. Like I said its because LT springs are so much softer and the shackles pivot so much better then the stock ones. (On 2nd gens the bushing is part of the shackle and doesn't pivot like a normal poly bushing) You can see if Giant can have Deaver make you a extra leaf or two for that side but its going to cost you.

^Some people take out like the 7th and 9th leaf (or something like that) if their truck is light. Couldnt you just take a leaf out of one side instead of adding one to the other side?

The LT springs that I know are good for holding weight well are the All Pro Baja Leafs. Engage calls them 50T. Same things just different names. But I'm not sure if the will work for you because I think Giant uses a 64" pack on the kit you run and the Baja Leaves are 62"

taking them out from both sides (Like people do with the 50T pack) is different then taking one and adding one. :)

They won't fit properly and can mess up the spring rates. Thats why I suggested he calls giant or deaver. Mjp2 has the same setup and and has gotten more leaves made in the past for weight and because he bent some on a trail.

try cranking some more preload into the drivers side coilover. mine does this too cause the coils are sagged out since they are old.
Also you have to think of how much that 1 spare weights, the gas tank and you are on the same side.
When cranking more preload in though, it will cause that tire to go into Negative camber since you have an Un-equal length A-arm setup. make sure to adjust your cams if you do this.

Anahiem PD rolled through the parking lot right after you left, but they didn't mess with us.
