Millermatic 175!!!!

 

If you can find a used one I'd seriously look into a Miller Millermatic Passport. Its a bad ass little suitcase welder that's 110/220 and carries its own little bottle for mobile use if needed. Gotta say its about the nicest little welder I've used. Bit pricier than your typical hobbyist welder though.

 

i use my buddies Eastwood 175/220v and it works great. Not as nice as the Lincoln 325 i have used but it still works really well.

I have a millermatic 211 and it's great...the flux was okay on it...but the mig is easier

 

i bought a hobart 140 just to do the stuff you mentioned. only thing is once you get a welder there is suddenly a whole new way to mod your truck, and you end up using it a 1000x more that you would expect. spend as much as you can justify on a welder, because right now im in the boat of wishing i bought a little bit bigger one.

 

Hobart 180 was way better than I expected.

Well its fully built. And if it truly has under 65K Original miles then the motor must be in great shape.

 

Nice truck, confused why he did a really pricy 9" like that and kept it so narrow.

 

My guess is he found it on RDC.
