Did the guy on TTORA PM you back yet?

i know your in a rush and everything..but i think you just gonna have to be a bit more patient if you want it to work out. Might as well tell the shop that has your rig to just push it aside for a week or so and get stuff sorted out. No need to make a rush decision

    nope he didnt...

yeah i know you are right, i will be furious if i miss glamis though.
the shop that currently has my rig isnt doing anything with the 4wd, he is just doing my rear LT.
i have a different shop assembling the axels and i will put them in myself. the shop that has my axles are already on hold...

im just trying to figure it out as soon as possible...

If it's this weekend..might as well cut your losses.

It'll work out. Just might not be this week or even next.

Cody, paging Dr. 4runnercaged.....info stat

I called ORS right after I read that last post.....he just now called me back (I left a message asking about it and that I know a another person or two that wants it as well)....yes they still make it!!!! Two versions a complete kit with warm lockouts or no lockouts.

    Warn lockouts $1117.00
    (Complete kit)

    Without lockouts $926.00
    Aisin lockouts $520.00

Aisin is more of a oem Yota part, but he said the warn is most popular :notsure:

Both kits do not come with cv boots. Just re use tundee ones and the bates upper/or tundra stock boot if u so choose.

The only difference from the link I posted is the shafts are now Toyota remans.

He said should have kits in stock and if not, it could be put together in a few days.

I am highly considering this down the road.

    OFFROAD SOLUTIONS (620)390-3198

Link to kit on ORS website

A write up it that I posted above

U know Cody I believe u can just take the axle shaft out from the cvs and use the ends in spindle/diff to get truck driving.

    yeah thats insane.
i already have manual hubs though. the issue is the outer cv joint has different splines than the tundy shaft so i cant put them together.
the hubs you listed are those for a tacoma but accept tundy axles??

Hmmm, maybe he can sell just part of it, or steer ya in right direction :notsure:

But ya it's pricey. Could be worth it in the long run if ur a daily driver.

Yep...try parking next to it every day with mid travel :pout:

Really like Gabes FJ though. I'm working on another FJ right now doing the same setup but with 4WD. Gabe's is a 2WD with rear locker.

I told him u were in the middle of the build and needed a solution to this and that I may be calling him for a kit....call and leave a message like u are ready to by a kit, when he calls back then ask question about hubs and spline count. If he uses warn, Aisin, and one other, maybe those companies have the hubs only available

I figure this is as good a place as any to ask.

What are you guys doing as far as roof mounts for LED light bars? My ability to resist getting one is wearing out and I haven't found much as far as mounting them goes.
