God it's nice having my own nitrogen setup again, got the air shocks on my axle bumped up to 330psi and seem to be controlling axle wrap way better

^nice! x2 I love having my own bottle and setup to play with pressures! before it was just hope its good and pretend the shocks have the pressure they need. What "air shocks" are you using?

I have the Giant DD link kit so it has 2.5" air shocks on the axle to control pinion change and to act as a sway bar.

seriously Landon, the idea of a linked crawler that tows and carries as well as goes fast has been on my mind alot.

So the really small shocks by the axle work like a sway bar?? how so??

Look closely the links attach to the axle with a uniball then keep going and attach to the air shock. So when the axle tries to articulate it has to fight the air shocks. It does not stop sway nearly as much as a sway bar but it sways way less than a traditional 4 link with no sway bar.

    huh interesting.

So its an inbetween of a real sway bar setup? so you gain some control but still keep most your articulation.

    very cool.

It's all sitting ready to go but work has been insane! We got $200 million in projects in the last 2 weeks. September is always nuts for me because it's the fiscal end of year for the DOD

The biggest reason for the air shocks is to set pinion angle, this kit has no upper link so you can keep the stock gas tank and the bed

I'm not a fan of the pinion angle and more importantly the role center being variable so I'm building a single upper link to set those but not get in the way of the stock tank.
