Thanks for the link. very cool. Very nice build. would be curious as to the shock valving up front with a 1100 lb wet engine and a 8000 lb truck. Curious why he did not use a TTB setup as opposed to the twin i beam set up. Was that a 4wd truck before ? That dude has a few bucks in that rig, but it looks like he uses it.

I have no idea on valving but its dialed in. I think 4wd wasn't his main concern. He actually has J-beams due to this happening.

I don't blame Dirt Designs at all it was a really bad landing after tooooonnnns of abuse. It had a solid axel before so yeah it was 4wd.

It is a very heavy truck. over 4000 lbs of dead weight on that front end. Who ever did the work, did a nice job. This was the first i had seen of the build thread, but i have seen pictures of the truck previous. I think i remember it raced primm. How did it do ? Is a J arm when the beam and radius arm are one unit ? I would like to go for a ride in it, as i am a 2nd gen ram diesel guy, but that truck is way beyond my KORE kit and a bed cage with 14" 2.5 triple bi pass.
Again, thanks for the link, i enjoyed that build and think that truck is awesome.

Are you selling parts off your old motor?

Once my truck is running I'll decide what to do with the old motor. Either parting it out, selling as is, or keeping it as a spare/build it.

These mounts are from the new motor I bought, someone bought the frame and I kept the hard brake lines and these mounts.

Ya they should. BEarings are the same. That's what matters. If the shock is off, bring it in and we will figure something out one way or another.
