Just got back from a test run. The 4.88's are lower than stock, it actually hauls the mail. For sure it's faster than 33's on 3.73's, and I get to use 6th gear again! lol

Fixer upper. Would make an awesome NORRA trophy truck!

Looks good. Damn I didnt know 2nd gens were that low. Mine stock is 4.10 so with 33's it works. But leave it to you to skip 35's and go baller status with 37's :D

When you wake up in the morning and piss excellence you accept nothing but baller status, lol. I was just tired of breaking rims and tearing the sidewalls out of KM2's. I've broke 4 wheels and popped 8 tires in the last year or so, it gets old. The hummer take offs I get for $75 a piece, hard to beat that.

Will the HMMWV wheels not take a balance well or is it just that no one will balance them?

I just beat on them so much lead weights are pointless, plus airsoft bb's get the job done. I have access to a tire machine and can do them myself, but most tire stores cringe at beadlocks. I got the tires from this guy (http://www.race-dezert.com/cgi-bin/trader/atl.cgi?ct=8&md=second&id=33858) he cut me a break because I bought 6 and maybe the military thing helped, I dunno.

Yes, it's fully adjustable using a gas wrench (torch). Next time use some mason line, a plumb bob, and the old fashioned hairy eyeball to line it up. Thanks for the compliments on my beater though.

I have a bumper to bumper cage, it would be a seriously bad day if I had a bent frame. If you fucked up welding the spring perches on then ya, you have to cut them off and start all over. Sure you could redrill the holes on the spring perch, but it would be half ass. Welds aren't permanent, it's ok man.

He is not spring under. I assume you mean the stock perches Zach? You lifted and now your pinion angle is off?

I know how to make a spring under correct but not sure how to fix stock ones. I would assume they have shims

Did you cycle the suspension with the shocks on it? That shock looks like it will lay down quite a bit and the hoses might hit the bottom of your bed

Oh yeah, I know your truck from TTORA. If the alignment pins on the leaf springs are straight, and your spring hangers are straight, then what could be off? The pinion angle can be adjusted with shims, but the "right" answer is to reset the seats on the axle. That's probably more than you are into, just do shims and keep an eye on them, they are famous for cracking.

EDIT: I'm running all-pro baja leaves SUA with 12" total chaos shackles and ruff stuff specialties perches and SUA kit.

They rust really bad and don't have the support of radflo, king, fox, or icon. The ranger guys seem to like them though, I'm sure they'll sell over there.
