    Anybody in here running DMZ's SUA kit with their shocks postitioned vertically instead of towards the front of the bed?

    Those of you that are running your shocks towards the front of the bed, are you running 16's?

    Do you guys use pretty close to all 16" of those shocks? I am planning to run my shocks off the back of the axle and as close to vertical as I can get them to clear my toolbox (so possibly slightly backwards). My understanding is you can run shorter shocks by angling them forward and since you guys are running 16's I figured I would likely need 18's. I'm waiting to hear back from Tim for sure, but in his 1st email he seemed to think 18's would be more shock than necessary.

    No I am not using all the shock. At full droop I still have 1.5-2" of shock left if I remember correctly.

    I think you will need 18's for mounting them vertical or slightly backwards. I think the DMZ kit is capable of 17'' or so? Mounting them vertical the axle is essentially going to swing forward away from the shocks compared to the opposing front facing shocks where they will swing forward along with the axle?
