Sorry I feel like ultra 4 is geared more towards crawling so in my own mine the are separate, let me specify, trophy trucks are 2wd

There's a yellow 2nd gen somewhere here in SoCal, my friend Tom just did Mojave Rd with him and some other highly built Tacos.

The rear on that one is IRS, VW style.

The yellow one with the v8 in it and IRS was a sand rail with a truck body on it. Is that the one you are talking about?

Still awesome but it didn't start as a Tacoma.

technically those are short course trucks... much smaller/lighter than trophy trucks which are almost always 2wd

    That's the one.

That was a sand rail? I always thought it was a Taco.

IRS rear, big v8. Looks like shit, but handles alright. Super goofy looking.

Need a professional opinion here: FOA 2.5x6" shocks, I'm pretty sure they will bolt on to the stock suspension on my '00 tacoma. Am I right?

Also, are these ones ride height adjustable?

And how do I tell whether or not I need to rebuild them? The guy selling them doesn't know when the last time they were rebuilt but they look pretty new.

    http://www.dezertrangers.com/vb/parts-accessories/208397.htm

And lastly: I know its probably not the smartest idea, but UCA's are not in the budget right now. Will I be fine running these coil overs with stock UCA's and just light offroading for now?

    Lots of expensive shit

Gonna need a strut mount adapter, custom lower spacers, an internal droop limiter, and your time trying to figure out what needs to be modified

Too much trouble for what they're worth? I don't really know what to look for or how to internally limit the droop. What are the custom lower spacers for?

Thanks for the reply, I'm just not as savvy as you guys with the vocab. haha
