I've seen some people run a bed liner type of coating on rear cages, Landons truck might have something similar, what are your thoughts ? I can see it being a pain if you have to add something down the line, or change some tubes down the road, but it's appealing to me at the moment. What do you think?

I was 100% ready to pull the trigger on line-x but backed out because I know I'll be adding and changing things, Home Depot $7 or line-x $50 minimum. It's nice to have durability and longevity however I feel it's nicer to have options and low cost

don't do it... i had it on my bedcage and its a pain if you ever want to make changes, either in design or even just color, you basically have to grind it off... if you can pull the cage, powdercoat it... otherwise lots of clearcoat? haha

I think them being made in a smaller shop will make them a way better spring, more attention to detail. The difference between the custom pack I ordered for my 4runner and the production F67's is pretty noticeable when you pull the springs apart. The most important difference to me being the consistency of the free arch of each leaf in the pack.

Theres more to it jr., its not a new "magical" pack. We are racing the E-30 pack this weekend first in Barstow and doing R&D. Then Im talking to Jeff next week and doing some feedback with him after the race. I tested last weekend in Lucerne and this E-30 pack worked better than the f-67s. (for my truck). The E-30 is stiffer and sits a few inches taller giving me more up travel.

Yeah I also took photos of a brand new F-67 and E-30 pack next to each other when I was at Deaver. You can see the shorter F-67 pack. The E-30 pack is taller as you can see. At Full droop the pack provide the same travel. But the main leafs are the exact same size and your geometry does not change when swapping packs. Both pack are fine, it just depends on your set up

Do you have a calculation of how much dead weight you are carrying on the back or the whole truck weight?

Yeah guys the H70 sits Between the F-67 and E-30.
All 3 packs have the same main leaf. But the E-30 sits the tallest out of the 3 and also has the most aggressive Arc (also the closest to the 50T pack in terms of ride heigth).
Its interesting, Ive been doing a ton of research and the H70 and E-30 are close to the same. Its just that the E-30 pack is the tallest and stiffest. I just got off the phone with Jeff at Deaver and we are meeting next week. We want to see how the pack does at Barstow Race this weekend and go from there.
He told me he never sold a lot of E-30 packs and that's why a lot of people don't know about it (shit I didn't know myself. I only heard of the h-70). But when I brought a 50T pack to him, we compared all his race packs and the E-30 was exactly like the 50T. So I ran them on the truck last weekend and they even felt the same. So that's the direction we are going.

So you have 3 Long Travel pack options:

    1) F-67 = street long travel pre-runners without a lot of weight in the rear. Race and street proven over the years!

2)H-70 =Good in-between pack for Race/Pre-runner use and hard trail running with a little extra weight. A lot of you guys have ran these and know about them

    3) E-30 = Street/Race pack with more weight in rear. Sits the most aggressive and tallest. Good for a truck with spares, tools, and jacks etc...

(all these packs have the same travel. Because they all have the same main leaf. But as far as ride height is concerned, they all differ. I like up travel and sitting stink bug because I hate leaf packs "Packing" and that's the way my truck works best. Even though I don't look cool pre-runner style...haha)
